Vehicle Fixation – Anchors: Sliding Anchor

Vehicle Fixation – Anchors: Sliding Anchor

Main Principle

Slide the sliding anchor into an appropriate position on the slide rails. Then tighten all screw nuts of the sliding blocks at the base plate of the sliding anchor to fix the anchor on the slide rails.

The sliding anchor can be used both for the hook fixation and for the wheel hub fixation.

Anchor Heights

The standard height of the sliding anchor is 300 mm or 400 mm. Using the height adjustable sliding anchor you can cover the heights between 300 mm and 400 mm or between 400 mm and 500 mm continuously. The height of an anchor is defined as the distance between the middle of the rod collet and the floor of the testing room.

Height 300 mm: Towing lug or trailer coupling between 210 mm and 390 mm above floor of testing room. Wheel diameter up to 750 mm.

Height 400 mm: Towing lug or trailer coupling between 310 mm and 490 mm above floor of testing room. Wheel diameter above 750 mm.

Height 500 mm: Towing lug or trailer coupling between 410 mm and 590 mm above floor of testing room.
